In this post I am going to show you the first video I took with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision.
It is also the first video I have edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. The video captured by the Phantom Vision does not have sound. (If it did it would be the sound of the copter's rotors, which would be less than appealing!) So I have downloaded some music which I found online at the free YouTube audio library, and added some sheep sound effects. It is pretty basic, but it will have to do for my first edited video!
The movement of the sheep in this video is fascinating. It shows the mob behaviour as you can never see it from the ground. Unfortunately it is a bit wobbly - I need to learn how to add stabilisation in the editing process so that you don't get motion sickness from watching...
I hope you enjoy this video, and I hope I can bring you some more videos in the future.
I can see that there will be a great demand for aerial shots in the future. I would love to be able to offer aerial photography with the drone, and it would be a fantastic extra for farm album shoots.
BUT... I'm not allowed to! The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) says that I am only allowed to fly my DJI Phantom 2 Vision for recreational purposes, unless I have an operators certificate and a license which could cost me in excess of $10,000 and many hours to achieve. So at this stage, my drone is my own personal TOY!
